We will meet at Huntleys - http://www.huntleys.co.uk - on the A59 at Samlesbury, Preston, PR5 0UN 10.30am for 11am start. (Note: half an hour later than usual start). We will enjoy a run through the country lanes of Lancashire ending with a leisurely lunch at around 2pm. There will be a mid-point pit stop for about half an hour for a wander somewhere (I haven’t worked out where yet - shouldn’t volunteer on the spur of the moment!)

Those who don’t wish to lunch are most welcome to join us for the run and a drink at the end.

John & Bernadette Holden.

Sounds great :P I'm not sure I need the lunch but I'd love to come along for the run.

How many are you expecting to turn up?

Hi Simsy, these runs are usually well attended, there could up to 10 cars may be more once every one know there is food some where on the run  .Unfortunatly I wont be attending as my car is parked up until April hope to see you then, enjoy the run, don't be shy just go and introduce your self.

For clarificattion.....
We normally get 15 - 20 cars on a run. In fact a run last year to Ennerdale Water organised by Roy and Herta had 30 cars.
(See photo on Introduction page on the website - taken at Ennerdale Water)
Also, we aim on all runs to have a coffee stop and a lunch stop.
Regards
Jim

I may try to pop along, that's if you don't mind a none MX-5 member? I just want to get feed back and an idea of what to look out for off you guys before I buy. My car is still a Mazda though if that counts? LOL

Hi Manicmonkey
You are welcome to come on the run to meet members and see what we are like. Please print out the map and instructions on the 1st message in this thread. A navigator is a good idea if possible. I think it might be appreciated if you tag on to the back rather than in the middle of the group.
Please introduce yourself to me at the start - I should be wearing my coordinators badge - as long as I remember it!
Regards
Jim Varnom

Hi John and Bernadette.

A good run, thank you for organising it. Not a lot of sun but what the heck.....still nice enough to get the top down :D

Well, we enjoyed the first part of the run, despite getting lsot from the main pack :?

Had to dash off during the mid-point stop as the childminder was having problems with the kids

Hopefully better luck on the next one.........
